Dr. Power’s consulting work has taken her across the US and around the globe. In the early 1980s she was selected to be a Visiting Fellow by the Department of Justice, and notably was the first woman to serve in this post. Her fellowship work resulted in changes in US constitutional law, which dictated sweeping reforms across the country. Anne was one of a handful of consultants who led this extraordinary change effort. It was in this arena of change management that Anne began to “coach” leaders and teams to work collaboratively to meet the demands of a changing world. Since that time individual and team coaching has expanded and established itself as a vital aspect of successful organizational practice.  The role of coaching is particularly relevant in the current era. As one of the pioneers of leadership coaching, Dr. Power has helped hundreds of leaders effectively lead in the changing world.

Today, whether she is serving as a coach to individuals or teams, a consultant, or a mentor to other coaches, Anne’s emphasis is on helping her clients focus on their goals. She provides them the support and challenge to develop new capabilities, reach new horizons, and find new worlds of opportunity for themselves and those around them.  Anne uses the power of emotional intelligence to support and challenge her clients to move from where they are to where they want to be.

Dr. Power holds a doctorate from the Department of Organization and Leadership at Columbia University.  She has over twenty-five years of experience in coaching, organizational consulting, and leadership development.  She currently is a faculty member at Columbia University’s Coach Certification program in New York.
